During this summer camp, students will get the chance to engage fully in the writing life. Under the guidance of a Baldwin-Wallace College English professor, they will read, and talk, and write, and then write some more. In a workshop-style setting, students will craft their own short stories, essays, news articles, poems, and even blog entries. This camp will explore the idea of being a writer as a life option, not a career option.

Campers will also meet with a variety of professional writers — from reporters and editors at the Plain Dealer to Northeast Ohio poets and fiction writers — to discuss their writing careers and writing lives.
