To be considered, applicants must have previously demonstrated excellence in academics, citizenship and character.

Each scholarship recipient is expected to exemplify leadership in his or her cabin and to be in good citizenship standing while attending Woodcraft Camp and to report in September to the Foster family on his or her Woodcraft experience.

A special added component of the Foster Scholarship will be the opportunity for recipients to attend a designated leadership conference during the school year to be determined on an individual basis for each recipient.
