BalletMet Mini Camps introduce children to creativity, movement, and fun.  Each week long workshop is designed to explore the them using dance, arts & crafts, and music.  All mini camps also include a a meet & greet visit from a dancer in costume! 

A Castle Adventure – Ages 3-5 – June 11-15 – 10:00am-12:00pm Cost $125

Come along on a castle adventure as we explore all things royal.  Our imaginations will lead the way to noble knights, elegant princesses, magical unicorns, and fiery dragons.

Fancy Nancy(c) Tea Party – Ages 3-5 - July 16-20 – 10:00am-12:00pm – Cost $125

Full and Half Day Camps

Camp Carnival – Ages 5-7 years -  July 16-19 – Full Day (Young Chefs & BalletMet) Cost $275  -  Half Day (BalletMet only) $130

Welcome to the Carnival!  Enjoy the amusements, food, sideshows, games, and prizes!  In the morning at Young Chef’s, you’ll create carnival food favorites (Fair Fries and Elephant Ears and more)!  After a short walk to BalletMet’s Vista Plaza Studio, the fun continues as we choreograph a carnival of dancing with ballet, jazz, and tap.  We’ll use arts & craft projects to help us create the carnival scene.  Fun for all!

Dancing Damsels & Dramatic Dragons – Ages 5-7- July 9-13 – 9:00am-12:00pm – Cost $150

Join BalletMet and Columbus Children’s Theatre for an amazing fairytale adventure this summer.  Each day you will work with BalletMet Dance and CCT Teaching Artist who will guide you through all sorts of fun activities.  Throughout this adventure you will learn to sing, act, and dance while creativng a performance like no other.  Whether you are a Dancing Damsel or Dramatic Dragon – be prepared to dazzle your family on Share Day!

Dine & Dance! – Ages 8-12 – 9:30-4:30 – July 9-12 – Full Day (Young Chef’s and BalletMet) Cost $275 – Half Day (BalletMet only) cost $130 

Dinner and a movie, anyone?  Spend your time at Young Chef’s creativng formal dinners including appetizers, dinners, and desserts for an upscale dining experience.  Follow it up with a short walk to the BalletMet Vista Plaza Sutdio for fun filled dancing inspired by popular dance movies.  So  Stuep Up, kick off you Sunday Shoes,, and Bring it On as we move our way through ballet, jazz, tap, dancing games, adn arts & crafts!

Triple Threat – Ages 8-12 – June 25-29 – 9:00am-12:00pm – BalletMet & CCT – Cost $150

This ever-popular program is back!  Students in this half day camp with partners BalletMet and Columbus Children’s Theatre will explore all the skills of a “Triple Threat” singing, dancing , and acting.  Not only will you learn the basics of stage presence, scene work, and audition skills, but by the time the class is over you will be able to act, dance, and sing your way across that stage.  Be prepared for a Share Day performance worthin of a Tony Award!
