Haugland Learning Center’s Summer Acceleration Camp provides students with academic and social skills instruction to build upon skills learned during the school year and prevent the regression that normally occurs during summer break. All students will be assigned to small groups based on age and ability. All instruction is designed to meet the individual needs of each student. Morning activities will focus on academic needs based on the student’s IEP. Afternoon activities will focus on social and daily living skills with practice in the community once a week. Day camp runs for a 4 week block from Jun 19-July13, from 9 AM–3PM. Cost: $1150 plus a $100 non-refundable fee, due upon registration. Methods of payment: Level 1 Waiver, I/O Waiver, credit card, cash, and checks. Children not currently enrolled in HLC must be assessed to determine if our summer camp is a good fit for them.
